Target Population:

This scholarship is intended to assist financially needy individuals with short-term educational goals resulting in employment. Examples of some of the trainings are: Commercial Truck Driving, Forklift Operator Safety, Medical Transcription, Pesticide Applicators’ and Traffic Control Flagger Certification. In the past, individuals with a clearly-defined goal and high likelihood of a job directly upon completion of training have received funding through similar scholarship funds. Students with proof of limited funding will be considered. This scholarship is flexible and may be used to cover textbooks, tuition, and fees or other necessities associated with formal training. Students receiving financial aid and who are seeking a degree or certificate will not be considered for this scholarship.
