Morris Family Foundation funded programs at Rogue Community College
A partnership of the Morris Family Foundation,
Rogue Community College and the RCC Foundation
The Morris Family Foundation was founded in 1997 by brothers LaRue and Earl Morris. Earl was a mechanic, and LaRue was an instructor at Eagle Point High School. Their goal was to benefit Jackson County youth by helping them acquire job skills that would prepare them for family-wage jobs in southern Oregon.
All Morris Programs support students studying in RCC career/technical programs. The Earl and LaRue Morris Scholarships are available through the RCC Foundation Scholarship Program. The deadline for the 2010-11 scholarship application is March 1, 2010. Check back for updated deadlines. RCC Foundation Scholarship Page
Also funded by Morris Family Foundation, John and Lillian Morris High School Program. Please read below for more information.
The Morris Family Foundation is making it easier for rural high school students in Jackson County to get a jump-start on technology-based education.
Working in cooperation with Rogue Community College and the RCC Foundation, the Morris Family Foundation provides scholarships to students who take career and technical training classes at the RCC Table Rock Campus in White City, providing funding for students tuition and textbooks.
The John and Lillian Morris program is especially suited to students who have an aptitude for computer, math, or business skills and who enjoy hands-on training.
