Matriculation Scholarship

This application for 2017-18 will open January 4, 2017

In 1996, Rogue Community College established a partnership with Southern Oregon University, Oregon Institute of Technology, Oregon State University and Portland State University to create the Matriculation Scholarship to aid students in the transition between RCC and the above-named universities.

One scholarship will be awarded for each of the four universities in the amount of $1,000 ($500 from the university and $500 from RCC Foundation) to be used during the first academic year at the university.

To qualify for the Matriculation Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Will receive an Associate Degree by the end of spring 2017 (students must submit an application to graduate by RCC's deadline of February 29, 2017).
  • Plan to transfer to SOU, OIT, OSU, or PSU.
  • Plan to attend full-time at one of the above universities beginning fall term of 2017.

Applications are completed online through the NEW AwardSpring application. The 2017-18 Matriculation Scholarship will open January 4, 2017.
